The dual concepts of yin and yang describe two opposing but complementary cosmic forces. This paradoxical concept is the cornerstone of most branches of Chinese philosophy, as well the inspiration for the Nambe’s Dharma large serving tray. Designed by Neil Cohen and handcrafted of Nambe’s gleaming alloy, the Dharma Tray consists of one large center flanked by two smaller yin-yang sections. Use the divided tray to serve dipping sauces with any of a variety of appetizers, such as shrimp, sushi, or grilled veggie skewers. The durable metal is safe for chilling in a freezer or warming in an oven before use, and retains its temperature superbly. The tray makes a perfect complement to the paisley-shaped Dharma serving bowls, available separately. While the bright metal will not tarnish, chip, or crack, the plate may not be used in a microwave or dishwasher. Washing by hand preserves the mirror finish.
