Puiforcat Zermatt Dessert Spoon, Stainless Steel
The Zermatt dessert spoon from Puiforcat was created by designer Patrick Jouin. Made entirely of shiny stainless steel, the strict geometry of this piece of flatware reflects the harsh majesty of the Alpine terrain. Inspired by Zermatt, an opulent Swiss ski resort surrounded by breathtaking mountains, Jouin was particularly inspired by the view of the 4478m summit of Matterhorn. The Zermatt collection has already been deemed a classic of contemporary design by the world's top museums, including the Centre Pompidou in Paris to the New York Museum of Arts and Design.

|Details & Care||Flatware may be machine washed. However, taking certain precautions and remaining attentive to cleaning products used is recommended: – powder detergent is preferable to chlorinated liquids, and should be used sparingly; – prior to each washing, be sure to separate silver cutlery from stainless steel items; – to facilitate the flow of water on the blades, knives should be placed in the silverware basket with the blades facing downward; – remove the cutlery at the end of the cycle or leave the dishwasher door cracked open to avoid condensation spots on the blades; – to prevent scratches on the knives, be sure that they are separated and do not knock together. Nevertheless, it is natural for the silverware's finish to evolve with continued use and washing.|

For his first time exploring the rich world of flatware, French designer Patrick Jouin drew inspiration for the Zermatt collection from an opulent Swiss ski resort that bears its name. Surrounded by breathtaking mountains including the 4478m summit of Matterhorn, the harsh majesty of the Alpine terrain is reflected in the strong, sharp lines of this collections fork and dinner knife. Fashioned entirely from stainless steel, this collection has already been deemed a classic of contemporary design by top observers.
Through their many collections, Puiforcat has succeeded in laying the groundwork for a silversmith's art de vivre.
