Saint Louis Manhattan Shaker
Blending American inspiration and French conviviality, the Manhattan Shaker enfuses the spirit of mixology into the home. This resolutely modern piece of baware is embellished with bevel cuts that serve to create a highly decorative architecture. Ideal for creating certain types of “frappé” cocktails, the shaker is made up of a clear lower glass that allows the mixture to be seen while the upper part, made of silver-metal, serves as a cover. A stopper in food-grade rubber ensures hermeticism while a filter inside the cover allows for pouring. The Manhattan Shaker is also suitable for preparing cocktails stirred with a spoon.

Since 1829, Saint-Louis has been exclusively devoted to the production of crystal-glass items. Considered amongst the very best in France, Saint-Louis’ master glassblowers put forth magnificent crystal creations including tableware, vases, chandeliers and lighting items. Blending tradition and innovation while continually drawing inspiration from contemporary artistic trends, Saint-Louis continues to renew and reshape its artistic identity.
The Manhattan Shaker and the collection reflect the work of Saint-Louis’ master glassmakers who endeavour to create the finest and most transparent glass possible. Renamed « Cristallerie royale de Saint-Louis » in the early 19th Century, the manufacture became exclusively devoted to the production of crystal-glass items. They introduced the concept of the Trianon service which was about creating a set of glasses for the dining table.
Unmatched, dense, pure and luminous, born from a ball of fire and the breath of man, Saint-Louis crystal vibrates with all the talent passed down from its rich heritage and the creative fantasy inspired by modern trends. Saint-Louis is truly a manufacturer of its time. Their master glass blowers all possess the irreplaceable ancestral skills and knowledge passed down from generation to generation. Each crystal piece is mouth-blown, hand-cut, hand-engraved and hand-decorated with platinum or 24-carat gold. The fine art of living in crystal is certain to seduce the world.
