The Oriente Italiano Citrino Charger exudes pure sophistication and artistry. The plate’s ornate shape, vibrant yellow hue and hand-painted blue painterly design combine to form a truly exquisite item for any sophisticated table.

Designer Gio Ponti created the extremely popular Oriente Italiano collection in the mid-twentieth century, taking his inspiration from the Far East and 18th-century Florentine ceramics. The collection features tableware in a wide variety of colors and sizes, with striking hues that span the color palette.

Ginori has its foundation in Doccia, near Florence, Italy, when the Marquis Carlo Andrea Ginori started a porcelain factory in 1735. The creation of Richard Ginori Ceramic Company in the late 19th century, and the influence of visionary designers along the way, brought Ginori 1735 where it is today: an expression of excellence in Italy, and worldwide, in the expert manufacture of porcelain, combining craftsmanship, creativity and an eye for sophistication. Ginori 1735’s elaborately detailed tableware, vases and home décor items provide unparalleled beauty, striking color and unquestionable elegance.
