The beautifully rounded shape and lovely handle on this warm, Citrino mug, along with its stunning hand-painted design, combine to form a truly stunning piece.

The extremely popular Oriente Italiano collection was created by designer Gio Ponti in the mid-twentieth century, taking its inspiration from the Far East and 18th-century Florentine ceramics. The collection features mugs, plates and other tableware in a wide variety of colors and sizes, with striking hues that span the color palette.

Ginori has its foundation in Doccia, near Florence, Italy, when the Marquis Carlo Andrea Ginori started a porcelain factory in 1735. The creation of Richard Ginori Ceramic Company in the late 19th century, and the influence of visionary designers along the way, brought Ginori 1735 where it is today: an expression of excellence in Italy, and worldwide, in the expert manufacture of porcelain, combining craftsmanship, creativity and an eye for sophistication. Ginori 1735’s elaborately detailed tableware, vases and home décor items provide unparalleled beauty, striking color and unquestionable elegance.
