Ginori 1735 Oriente Italiano Citrino Oval Salad Bowl

$550.00

This striking salad bowl features a lush oval shape, with scalloped ridges, and a stunning hand-painted design in blue, which complements the Citrino fine porcelain.

Visionary designer Gio Ponti created the Oriente Italiano pattern in the mid-20th century, inspired by the Far East and 18-century Florentine ceramics. The Oriente Italiano Citrino Oval Salad Bowl works perfectly on its own, or along with the other dishes in the collection.

The lovely Oriente Italiano Citrino Oval Salad Bowl from Ginori 1735 is the ultimate in elegant style.

It is part of the extremely popular Oriente Italiano collection, which was created by designer Gio Ponti in the mid-twentieth century, taking its inspiration from the Far East and 18th-century Florentine ceramics. The collection features salad bowls, plates and other tableware in a wide variety of colors and sizes, with striking hues that span the color palette.

Ginori has its foundation in Doccia, near Florence, Italy, when the Marquis Carlo Andrea Ginori started a porcelain factory in 1735. The creation of Richard Ginori Ceramic Company in the late 19th century, and the influence of visionary designers along the way, brought Ginori 1735 where it is today: an expression of excellence in Italy, and worldwide, in the expert manufacture of porcelain, combining craftsmanship, creativity and an eye for sophistication. Ginori 1735’s elaborately detailed tableware, vases and home décor items provide unparalleled beauty, striking color and unquestionable elegance.
