Puiforcat Sommelier Water Tumbler
The Sommelier collection which includes this magnificent Water Tumbler is devoted to the art of enjoying wine. With a knack for organizing remarkable encounters, the House of Puiforcat brought together Lombardy native Enrico Bernardo, 2004 “World's Best Sommelier,” and London-based designer Michael Anastassiades, champion of minimalist elegance. Together they created the Orfèvre-Sommelier collection to meet the every need of wine lovers: decanter, champagne bucket, wine bucket and bottle holder, all with a mirror finish on the inner surface to reflect the image of the bottle.

With exceptional savoir-faire, the House of Puiforcat reflects elements of their heritage while imagining the classics of tomorrow. Beyond tableware, the House is dedicated to lending their expertise in service of cultivating a complete silversmith’s Art de vivre around the art of fine taste and decoration. For almost two centuries, Puiforcat has dressed the finest tables and served as the premier silversmith for connoisseurs and collectors of exquisite objects.
The Orfèvre-Sommelier collection was created through a fruitful encounter between master sommelier Enrico Bernardo and designer Michael Anastassiades. Their challenge: how to combine two substances that do not make for an ideal combination, metal and wine? Simple: by separating them! The partners thus imagined a chalice that would sit on a silver-plated metal base. In addition to this unprecedented glass, the different pieces of this collection strive to meet the every need of wine lovers: decanter, champagne bucket, wine bucket and bottle holder, all with a mirror finish on the inner surface to reflect the image of the bottle. Not to mention the water beaker, which transforms the act of drinking into an aesthetic experience.Through their huge variety of collections, Puiforcat lays the groundwork for a silversmith's art of living. Beyond their unrivaled expertise in the art of tableware, the House aspires to honor its century-old experience in all types of art de vivre, whether linked to the decorative arts or the “bel-usage”.
